Unbelievably dynamic sport that has been described as Rodeo on the water, without the bull!

Canoe polo, is not for the faint hearted and the images capture this hugely entertaining and dynamic sport.

With end to end action play on water, there is no chance for it to be boring. Rules around contact prevent injury, but allow for plenty of managed aggression and interaction.

Marty has captured a number of tournaments around New Zealand as he followed his son, and then taking opportunity to get amazing photos on other occasions.

Like any sport, its about timing and light, to get the best moments in time, and after many games one gets some sense of where and when to be looking for the shot!
