Canoe Polo SI Champs
The South Island Canoe Polo champs are held once a year and bring together 300 secondary students to Oamaru, for go to woah action. 20 minute games punctuated by fast paced activity, close combat and exhibitions of skill to keep the boats upright!
Marty travelled with the team and discovered just what a dynamic fast paced sport canoe polo is. End to end action, with highly physical interaction and deft touches to get the ball into the net. Capturing split second moments emphasise the emotion and the effort that goes into the 20 minute game!
